The Ku Klux Klan is a type of witch hunt. Their morals they followed were totally outrageous. They should have been stopped while they were in their prime. They were an evil group who killed because they believed blacks shouldn't have the same rights as whites.
The Ku Klux Klan is a disgusting group of people, who killed others because they weren’t the same race as them. This is a really good example of witch hunt because the KKK was trying to eliminate people of other races. Their thinking was if they got rid of these people whites would dominate the world, but no race can dominate another because they’re all equal.
Definitely a type of witchhunt.
Not only did the KKK hunt blacks, they also hunted Jews, Catholics, disabled people (??), those people. Otherwise, this is definitely a witchhunt. And Rachel made a valid and key point : we're all equal; no one is better than no one. && i really wish people would get that through their thick skulls!
This is an excellent example of a witch hunt. The Ku Klux Klan were and still are the ultimate racists. I believe the Ku Klux Klan members should have been more sought after and persecuted. Also I would like to add that Andrew Johnson is probably the worst president in history.
The KKK is just scary. What they have done (and probably what they still do) is morbid and brutal. Blacks were discriminated against and persecuted because the KKK saw them as different. Many people fear difference and change...the KKK included, and that could definitely be a cause of this witch hunt.
This is a witch hunt. They were insane to do these things. I agree with Tyler that somebody should have stopped them while they were in their prime. They were against not only blacks, but everybody who was not pure white. Jamie Werner
The Ku Klux Klan is definitely a good example of another "witch hunt." I remember hearing many stories about the Ku Klux Klan when I was younger, and I always wondered why they killed for no reason. I realize now that they were witch hunters killing the people they want to get rid of.
KKK is a ridiculous group of white trash...I mean white supremisists. They really need to get through their Southern bound heads that they have their imperfections also.

The Ku Klux Klan is a very sick organization! It is disturbing to think about how it is still going on today. How they hate people simply for the color of their skin is definately a witch hunt.
It sickens me to think that people can really hate someone else enough to kill them just because they have a different skin color, or maybe a mental imparement, or even not the right eye color. Or if you cared for or felt bad for the people who were being murdered, to get murdered also. The human race can be a real sick one sometimes, because it's not just the KKK that does stuff like this.

The KKK is a great example of a witch hunt. I agree with Emily here, when we were younger we always heard kind of the sugar coated version of the KKK and what they did. But now as I get older I realize just how brutal they were. The KKK thought they were better then the people they attacked and killed, and got rid of them.

The idea of hunting and lynching/hanging blacks because of skin color, and a few hurt prides is no reason to abuse others or kill.
